The underlying reason for selecting a Four-Fold door for any application is the need for superior performance. The alternatives; sectional overhead doors, telescoping and coiling steel doors, are often much less expensive at the initial installation but in many cases cannot hold up in service. The heavy-duty design and construction of the Four-Fold door enables it to function under high cycle and other severe conditions which create chronic service and maintenance problems for the conventional alternatives.

Fire Doors

Designed for use in applications requiring economy in a manual door. Rugged and easy to install and maintain. Both models are custom manufactured and available in single slide or center parting with UL and FM label ratings of 20 minutes to 4 hours. Standard features include automatic close system with thermal heat detectors and low maintenance heavy-duty hardware.

Sliding Cooler/Freezer Door Systems

Superior speed, uncompromising quality, solid reliability and unmatched value define these cold storage doors. Door Opening speed of 4' per second. Full perimeter non-marking double gasket system, and “down and in” track design. Self-cleaning, seamless rail system and "lubed for life" nylon roller wheels. High performance clutchless and brakeless AC drive. Impactable panels with a full 90 degree swing capability in both directions. 4” poured polyurethane foam. R-30 rated. “K” factor of .12 at 75° F.

Custom Bent Step Plate

House of Doors designed, fabricated and installed custom step plates for use at a potato chip factory to help load delivery trucks with daily boxes. Plates were made from 1/4" non-slip steel with a Hot-Dipped Galvanized Finish.

FM Rated Chemical Spill Barriers:

The anhamm spillbarrier is installed within the floor in front of the protected opening. It can easily be driven over by any common vehicle (including trucks and forklifts) without any limitations in loads or drive-overs.
During a spill, the escaping liquid is captured by the barriers basin. This liquid activates the barrier and automatically deploys in its tightly sealed, upright position. This happens without the use of any external power supply.

With our Press Break operation we can clear span up to 34’-0” in most cases without having to use heavy hot rolled structural steel members.  All framing members and structural roof panels are cold formed from high strength steel, heavily galvanized with high purity zinc coating.  Childers columns are galvanized after fabrication also with high purity zinc coating.

Double acting traffic doors allow you to speed the movement of your personnel or materials between two areas in your building by eliminating the stop, open, move through and manually close actions that a traditional single, one way swing door requires. There are no door levers or knobs to turn, the door opens easily in both directions with a hand push or when impacted by a hand truck, pallet jack or even fork lift and then automatically returns to its closed position after you have passed through the opening.
You can use double acting traffic doors between the sales floor and store room, food prep to cold storage area, front office to the warehouse or customer seating area to the kitchen or in any opening where you need to hide the clutter or reduce the noise from your backroom operations. Having a double acting traffic door creates a physical and psychological barrier that will restrict access by customers, vendors or employees to your backroom areas. Doors that have electric, hydraulic or pneumatic operators that use electric energy to drive pumps and motors are more complex to install, require regular maintenance and can be costly to repair. Manually operated traffic doors are less expensive than motorized alternatives, faster and easier to install, require less time and money to maintain or repair. A double acting traffic door with full perimeter door to jamb gasket seal and insulated panel will help control air, moisture, dust and dirt particulate movement through the opening. Automatic closing minimizes the time the door is open then seals and insulates to help maintain the temperature differential between two spaces. Controlling room to room temperature and humidity can increase HVAC system, cooler, freezer or refrigerated case efficiency which will save you energy dollars everyday. Low Temp: Low Temp strip doors are specially fabricated with FDA approved ingredients for use by the food processing industry. This special Verilon® Vinyl Strip helps sustain sub-zero temperatures while retaining its dimensional stability Öremains flexible from -50˚F to 140˚F. Meets USDA, FDA and Agriculture Canada requirements! The Vinyl Strip approved by the National Sanitation Foundation! This is the only Verilon® Vinyl Strip for freezer use. Available in flat and ribbed.
Welding Strip: Our welding strip blocks over 99% of UV radiation and are designed for welding booths as well as spraying, grinding, and sand blasting enclosures. This Verilon® Vinyl Strip is fire retardant, highly transparent, noise deadening and prevents dangerous near UV and UV radiation from penetrating adjacent areas. POLARIZED Verilon® Vinyl Strip also meets CPAI-84 and California State Fire Marshal requirements for flame resistance (sparks won't burn through).
Our plastic strip doors are not intended as a substitute for approved eye protection which should always be worn. It comes available in 80-gauge thickness with a strip width of eight inches, in colors of bronze, veri-orange and blue; or heavy duty 120-gauge thickness in a strip width of 12 inches in bronze. Available in flat only.
Smooth: The smoothly beveled rounded edges of our vinyl strip doors won't cut, snag or scratch anything they come in contact with. The strips' concave-convex curvature promotes a tighter seal, yet the strips spread apart easily for passage.
Ribbed: Ribbed Verilon® Vinyl Strip Doors provide maximum structural strength and energy savings. Reinforcing ribs on each side interlock for a tighter thermal seal to prolong the life of the vinyl. Reinforcing ribs also prolong the see-thru clarity of vinyl by reducing marring and scratching on the strip surface, which cuts down the need for replacement. Ribbed Verilon® Vinyl Strip Doors are ideal for heavy traffic areas. A recent test performed by U.S. Testing Co., Inc. proved that Verilon® Ribbed Vinyl Strips outperformed other brands repeatedly in strength and tear resistance.
